The Sound Of Sky

The sound of the big sky. The great distance within it gives us a knowledge of the subtle yet powerful sounds if contains.

Looking closely, we might see the clouds and traces of light, even shadows. If we step back, let our imagination take us beyond this first view, we might see a hint of the mythos of our own life and place.

The immensity of the sky is right there beside us, at the same time we sense that endless nature of ourselves and who we are.

The sky and the sounds are given onto us, a "gift from the sky."

When we feel closed in and limited in some way, we can imagine and recall this sense of the sky. It is within us as much as it is above us.
