Fire Dance

Are we ready to dance in or near the fire?

And what does that fire represent?

A risk or challenge of some type perhaps.

We leap high into the air, dancing close and then away from the fire.

​

We take a risk when we deem it worth it.

​

So, at least a couple of things

are going on here:

How close we come to the fire, and

How fast we move if we are too close.

​

We are drawn to fire,

much as our ancestors were, for then the fire represented safety and warmth.

​

We still like the fire,

the warmth and the comfort.

​

But also the excitement

and the adventure.

​
